Services for Shirley Mullis Moore, 72 of Post will be 10:30 a.m.
Friday at the Post Church of Christ with Charles McCook,
officiating. Burial will follow in the Terrace Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the personal care of Justice-Mason Funeral
Home.

Shirley died Wednesday May 28, 2008 at University Medical Center
in Lubbock. Born to Joe Marshall and Allene Wiser Mullis October
17, 1935 at Swenson. Shriley Sue attended school at Aspermont and
graduated in 1954. Shortly after graduation she married Jimmy Avery
Moore on June 5, 1954. They made their first home in Post and later
moved to the ranch. Shirley was active in the ranch and farm, but
was very active in taking care of her family and helping
friends.

In June 2000 Shirley moved back into town to live. Until her
health failed, she stayed active with her family and friends. She
is preceded in death by her Father: Joe Marshall Mullis, April 29,
1980, and also by a nephew, Jerry Pike on July 28, 1995. Shirley
was a life long member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors included two sons, Joe and his wife Kyran Moore of
Garza County and Jack and his wife Ralonna Moore of Post; her
mother, Allene W. Riddel of Aspermont; one sister Peggy Jo and her
husband Wayland Gray of Aspermont; eight grandchildren, Keith,
Kirt, Erica and Tamara Moore of Post, Sheakell Morales of Anton,
Rachel Moore of Lubbock, Raven Jasso and Cody Moore, both of San
Angelo; six great-grandchildren; three nephews, Larry Pike of
DeLand, Florida, Larry Pike of West Columbia and Tommy Pike of
Waco, one niece, Tammy Grabber of Aspermont; and special friends
Shorty Hester, Billie and Donald Windham, and Royce and Frances
Josey, all of Post.

Pallbearers will be: Wade Smith, Billy Winkle, C.J. Bilberry,
Terry Odom, Shorty Martin and Ken Bell.
