Calvin R. Mullis -PERRY
– Calvin R. Mullis, 58, entered into rest on September 14, 2008. -Mr. Mullis was born on May 5, 1950, in Eastman. With pride and honor he served his country in the United State Marines and participated in the Vietnam Conflict. He later went to work and retired in the aircraft industry at Robins Air Force Base in civil service. He was a member of First Christian Church. His father, Horace Mullis, preceded him in death.
-His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Margaret Demott Mullis; mother, Mae Thompson Daniel (Andrew), Byron; children, Brad Mullis, Perry, Miranda Baggett, Perry, and Deborah Franklin (Wayne), Bonaire; grandchildren, Brendan Mullis, Warner Robins, Brandy Heald, Bonaire, and Allen Franklin, Bonaire; brother, Wayne Mullis, Warner Robins; and three great-grandchildren.
-Visitation will be Tuesday, September 16, 2008, from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M., at McCullough Funeral Home. -Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M., on Wednesday, September 17, 2008, at First Christian Church, Reverend Ron Nolan and Mr. Brian Hipps officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
