EASTMAN – Graveside
services for Mr. Fulton Carlos Mullis, 85, of Eastman, will be held at
4 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Hope Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Mullis
officiating.
A
native of Dodge County, Mr. Mullis was a member of New Union Baptist
Church, a retired market manager with Piggly Wiggly Southern and the
son of the late William Henry and Odie Parkerson Mullis. He was the
father of the late Carlene Mullis James and Sydney Mullis
Survivors include daughter, Terry Lynn Collins; sons, Charles R. Mullis
and Timothy E. Mullis; sister, Mildred Stuckey; brothers, Parker New
Mullis, Gilbert Mullis, Felder Mullis, James Mullis, Brice Mullis, J.D.
Mullis and Doyce Mullis; 11 grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren.
The family may be contacted at the Mullis residence, 407 12th Avenue in
Eastman, and will receive friends in Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home
from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the
Alzheimer’s Association, 277 MLK Boulevard – Suite 201, Macon, Ga.,
31201.
Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home of Eastman has charge of the arrangements.
