Mr. Clarence Edward Mullis, 61, died Wednesday morning (February 22, 2006) at his residence following a long illness.
He was a native of Waresboro and had resided most of his life in Ware County.
He was son of the late Clarence Edward Mullis.
He was a former employee of Waycross Cable Company. He was a member of Crossway Church and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
The survivors include his wife, Mary (Pota) Papadeas Mullis of Waycross; a daughter, Renee Mullis Thrift (husband Rodney) of Blackshear; a son, Paul Mullis of Atlanta; his mother, Pauline Henderson Cribb of Waresboro; four sisters, Joyce Humphrey (husband Bobby) and Norma Jean Dukes (husband W.A.) both of Waycross, Evalene Head (husband Archie) and Paula Palmer (husband Larry) both of Waresboro; three grandchildren, Hannah Thrift, Aaron Thrift, and Emily Thrift.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday (February 24, 2006) at High Bluff Cemetery. A celebration service will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church.
The family will be receiving friends at Music Funeral Home Thursday night from 6 until 8.
