Loyce Elaine Mullis
Mrs. Mullis, age 64, of Huntersville, NC died Thursday September 9, 2010 at her residence.
Born July 11, 1946 in Gaston County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Dent Gaither and Mena Belle Clark Gaither.
She was an Insurance Agent, a member of Ramah Presbyterian Church and the North Mecklenburg Women’s Club.
Mrs. Mullis was a loving mother, devoted wife and shared a special bond with all her grandchildren, especially her autistic grandson, Griffin.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Steve Mullis; daughter, Paige Couper, grandchildren, Peyton and Griffin; sons, Steven Mullis and wife Melissa, grandchildren, Kari, Emily, Travis and Matthew; and Blaine Mullis and wife Shelia, grandchildren, Hunter and Jordan; and brother, Dr. Clark Gaither and wife Denise Stroud.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 12 at Ramah Presbyterian Church with Rev. Eulando Henton officiating. Burial will follow in the church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
