Zetta Mullis Porter, 90, of Mint Hill, NC, left to be with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 16, 2011.
Born in Mint Hill on September 25, 1920, Zetta was the youngest of nine children born to Martin Luther Mullis and Annie Mungo Mullis.
She will join her family who preceded her in death. Her parents; husband Walter; son, Douglas; sisters, Sudie Flow, June Roper, Catherine Evans, Francis Arant, and Annie Whitley, and brothers, Paul, Everett and Dave Mullis.
She is survived by her children, Pamela Porter Lookabill (Glynn) of Asheville; Harold Green (Dianne) of Gastonia, grandchildren, Darleen Porter Morris, (Eddie) of Indian Trail, Rick, Jeff and Matthew Green of Charlotte; great-grandchildren, Gunnar and Gavin Morris, and numerous beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers are Rick, Jeff and Matthew Green, Mike and Scott Austin and Bob Ballard.
Services will be held at 4 PM at Shiloh Truelight Church of Mint Hill. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will follow the service. Family will be at 8533 Anette Avenue, Mint Hill.
The family would like to thank Shiloh Truelight Church and The Mill House for the loving care and concern shown to their loved one during her illness.
