MRS. MONETTE ROGERS1925 – May 2, 2011
MRS. MONETTE JONES ROGERS, Age 85, of Macon, formerly of Eastman, died Monday, May 2, 2011 in Laurel Baye Healthcare.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, May 4, in Southerland Funeral Chapel, Eastman, with Rev Tim Hicks and Sister Geraldine Golden Officiating, with Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Rogers, a Dodge County native, was a member of Bonaire First Baptist Church, a Homemaker and Daughter of the late Pearl Mullis Jones & Mather Jones, Widow of Richard Rogers and was preceded in Death by a Daughter- Betty Sue Woods.
Survivors: 2 Sons- Robert Rogers of Pembroke Pines, Florida and Terry Rogers of Macon; 4 Grandchildren- Jennifer Ouellette, Marianne Wood, Angela Sapp & Amy Roberts; 1 Sister- Geraldine Golden of Warner Robins; Son-in-law- Ronnie Woods of Warner Robins; Several Nieces & Nephews.
The Family will receive Friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 12:30PM until Service Time on Wednesday.
The Hicks Family and Sister Geraldine Golden are musicians for the Funeral Service. Serving as Pallbearers are Eric Ouellette, Mark Jones, Keith Golden & Jacob Kline.
