Beverly Joan Helms Kiser, 70, of Harrisburg, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011, at her residence.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church with Pastor Wylie Carland officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the Church Family Life Center.
Mrs. Kiser was born July 7, 1941, to the late Hoyle Glenn and Evelyn Louise Eastwood Helms.
She is survived by her husband, Larry David Kiser, Sr.; three sons, David Kiser, Jr., and wife, Tammi, of Mint Hill, John Kiser and wife, Linda, of Indian Trail and Kevin Kiser and partner, Joe Brown, of Kannapolis; one brother, Andy Mullis of Harrisburg; and two grandchildren, Christopher and Brittany Kiser.
Mrs. Kiser was a member of Providence Baptist Church, the 1st Ladies Rescue Squad of Harrisburg, the Lions Club of Harrisburg, the Carolina Heart Landers RV Club and of Prime Timers at Providence Baptist Church. Mrs. Kiser retired from the Charlotte Marriot Hotel where she worked in the accounting department. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend by all who knew her.
