YORK — Mrs. Eleanor Carroll Dickson, 74, of 306 Simrill Ave. died Friday, June 1, 2007, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2007 at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The Rev. Thomas B. McPhail will be officiating.
A native of York, S.C., Eleanor Dickson was a daughter of the late Ben Carroll and Aquilla Mullis Carroll. She was a member of Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church and a member of the women of the church, and also church pianist for 25 years. She was a retired assistant Clerk of Court for York County.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Parks “Bobby” Dickson of York, S.C.; her son, Robert Morris Dickson of Rock Hill, S.C.; and two sisters, Florence C. Smith of Rock Hill and Gladys C. Howell of Rock Hill; and two grandchildren, Brenna Dickson and Austen Dickson, both of Rock Hill.
Visitation will be held at Bratton Funeral Home in York from 6 to 8 p.m. today, June 2, 2007.
