Donald “Don” J. Mullis, 83, of Albany died Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 11, 2017 at 4:00 PM at Kimbrell-Stern. Dr. Charlie Rouse will officiate. A private entombment will be held afterwards.
A native of Baxley, GA Mr. Mullis had resided in Albany since the early 1960s. He served in the US Army, was an avid outdoorsman, loved fishing, racing and working on anything as far as equipment, race cars and machinery.
Survivors include his 4 daughters, Patricia “Pat” Beckwith of Sumner, GA, Marie Stamps and her husband, Cecil of Albany, Diane Glidewell of Loganville, GA and Brenda Minton of Lebanon, MO, 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren and a special nephew Jerry Johnson and his wife, Diane.
