Howard Rhodene “Rhody” Mullis, Sr., 75, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018.
Mr. Mullis, a U.S. Navy veteran, was retired from the IBEW Local 177.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Wanda Mullis; daughter, Rhonda Barr (Chip); son, Rhody Mullis, Jr.; sister, Gail Hodge; 3 brothers: John, Joe (Carol) & Tom Bomar; 7 grandchildren: Jenny, Lonnie, Ross, Russ, Shelby, Hannah & Reid; several great grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends, including Lynn & Linda Mullis and Steve & Bonnie Mullis.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, May 31 in the chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. Interment will follow, with military honors, at Jacksonville National Cemetery. The family will receive friends one (1) hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Rhody’s memory to Community Hospice of N.E. Florida.
