Warner Robins, GA: James M. Scarborough, 84, passed away Friday, December 22, 2006.

Services will be at 2 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1 PM until service time at 2 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Scarborough was born in Dodge County, GA to the late Arnold Patrick and Annie Nora Mullis Scarborough. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife on 50 years, Hilda Evelyn Tripp Scarborough and a daughter Sandra Kay Scarborough Danielly.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins and a ordained deacon of the Baptist faith. He served his country proudly and received a Purple Heart while fighting during W.W. II in the U.S. Army. Mr. Scarborough had a love for flying. He was an pilot and a member of the Civil Air Patrol. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Mt. Hope, #9 in Hawkinsville and was retired from Robins Air Force Base as an Electronic Manager.

Survivors include his wife Carolyn Trott Scarborough of Warner Robins, son James Michael Scarborough (Sharon) of Warner Robins, daughters Cathy Scarborough Barker (Bobby) of Byron, Lorrie Scarborough Nix (Bobby) of Buford, son-in-law Jerry Danielly of Social Circle, step children Lorna Trott Beavers of Warner Robins, Amy Trott St.- Amand of Canada, Mark Trott of IL., sister Sarah Hardin of Cochran, brothers Aaron Scarborough of Cochran, A.P. Scarborough of Milledgeville, 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren, many neices, nephews and sisters & brothers-in-laws.

Contributions may be made to Serenity Gate Hospice House at 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA, 31088, in memory of Mr. Scarborough.
Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
