Graveside services for Jerry Clyde Mullis, Sr., age 59, of East Dublin will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Northview Cemetery. Reverend Hugh Spivey will officiate.
Mr. Mullis was a United States Army Veteran and retired from the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center. He was also a paper carrier for the Courier Herald. He attended the Assembly of God in Dublin. Mr. Mullis was the son of the late Perry Clyde Mullis and the late Annie Lizzie Williams Mullis. He passed away on August 21, 2011.
Survivors include a son, Jerry Clyde Mullis, Jr., two daughters; Tabitha Wells of Dublin and Kelly Anderson of Columbia, SC; two sisters, Carolyn (Herman Hugh) Spivey and Grace (Terry) Autry both of Dublin; special friend, Teresa Upshaw of East Dublin, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be Tim Spivey, Kenny Autry, John Morrison, Robert Anderson, James Linn and Elmer Williams.
The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home from 9:30AM until 10:30 AM. They may also be contacted at the home of Rev. Hugh & Carolyn Spivey, 109 Beaver Run, Dublin.
