CHESAPEAKE Katharine L. Villone, 46, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bainbridge, MD, she was the daughter of John Treat and the late Mary L. Treat.
She was an avid reader. She loved horror movies including vampires. She enjoyed crabbing and fishing with her family. She enjoyed her family vacations to Niagara Falls and her cruise to the Bahamas. She was an avid doll collector many of which her mother hand made. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Villone; her daughter, Ashlee Locklear and husband Jonathan; her brother, Jeff Treat; her four cousins, Stephanie, Jonathan, Phillip and John. She also leaves behind a very special friend, Donna Hickman.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home & Crematory, 653 Cedar Rd., Chesapeake, VA 23322. The interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Charles Moseley will officiate. The viewing will begin on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 with the family receiving friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
