James Keel -COCHRAN – Funeral services for James Keel, 60, of
Cochran who died Monday, January 21, 2008 in Taylor Regional
Hospital in Hawkinsville will be held at 11A.M. Wednesday, January
23, 2008 in the Chapel of Fisher Funeral Home with Elder Ricky
Harcrow and Rev. Ken Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Cedar
Hill Cemetery. -Mr. Keel was born in Laurens County, the son of the
late Freeman Keel. He had lived in Bleckley County most of his
life. He was a graduate of Dudley High School class of 1966. -He
was retired from Georgia Kaolin and was of the Primitive Baptist
faith. -Survivors include a son, Brandon (Chara) Keel of Cochran;
daughter, Ashia Reeves of Cochran; five grandchildren, Rob Reeves,
Ryan Reeves, Hunter Hogan, Allie Keel and Addisyn Keel, all of
Cochran; mother, Pauline D. Mullis of Cochran; sister, Zandra
(James) Mullis of Cochran; step-mother, Marie Keel of Montrose.
-The family may be contacted at the residence of Pauline D. Mullis,
196 Berkley Road and will meet friends at Fisher Funeral Home from
7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday night. -Fisher Funeral Home has charge of
arrangements.
