HARTSVILLE — Funeral services for Mildred Ousley King, 74, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at the Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Ed Griggs will officiate with burial in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, October 29, 2007, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. King, widow of Bill King, died Sunday, October 28, 2007. Born in Darlington Co., SC, she was a daughter of the late Robert L. and Christine Flowers Ousley. She was a nurse and retired from Byerly Hospital. She loved her cactus garden, knitting, reading and puzzles.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Richard Mullis of Ruby, SC; brother, W. Howard Ousley of Chesterfield, SC; grandchildren, Amy Talbert, Jon Truett both of Ruby, SC, William R. Mullis, Jr. of Salisbury, NC; great-grandchildren, Allen Talbert, John Talbert, both of Ruby, SC; beloved puppy, Charlie.
