Lou Nell P. Mullis, of Mint Hill, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 10, 2016, surrounded by her loved ones.
Lou Nell loved spending time with her family, along with reading her Bible. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She would light up whenever they were around.
Lou Nell was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mullis; sister, Juanita Schaaf; and brother, Crowson Pressley.
Surviving are her children, Ann Robinson (Mike), Roberta Hood (Wayne), Greg Mullis (Kim) and Rodney Mullis (Rhonda); sisters, Maxine Purser and Shirley Jordan; ten grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 14, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Shiloh Truelight Church of Christ Cemetery.
