Mrs. Joeann Mullis
Harlem, Ga. – Joeann Bishop Mullis, 66 loving wife of James Mullis, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 2, 2015.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Silver Run Baptist Church with the Revs. Douglas Hood officiating. Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
She was born and raised in Savannah, Ga. and was the daughter of the late Calvin Bishop and Carrie Owens Powell. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, James Mullis; two sons, Tommy Baily (Julie) of Grovetown and Ricky Bailey (Shannon) of Augusta; one daughter, Shannon Corbell of Harlem; two brothers, Roy Bishop (Judy) and Donnie Wilkerson (Theresa), of Augusta; one sister, Bonnie Waldoch; Her grandchildren, Amber Baily, Jarrett Bailey, Blake Bailey (Ariel), Erin Bailey, Casey Corbell, Tyler Corbell and Easton Bailey; Great-grandson Luke William Bailey.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Corbell, Blake Bailey, Donnie Wilkerson, Michael Waldoch, Taylor Cole and John Wyatt.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
