 Earl N. Mullis, Sr. -COCHRAN – Memorial services for Mr. Earl N. Mullis, Sr., 72, of Cochran, who passed away at his home on Friday, June 10, 2011, will be held at 2P.M. on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Cochran First Baptist Church.

Earl was born in Bleckley County, the son of the late J. R. “Jim” Mullis and Claudia Lamb Mullis. He was retired as a city mail carried with the Cochran Post Office. He was a member of Cochran First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel Moore Mullis of Cochran; children, Teresa (Dennis) Churchwell of Cochran, Dr. Earl (Lori) Mullis, Jr. of Macon and Wendy (Joe) Meadows of Cochran; grandchildren, Raynor Churchwell, Katie Mullis, Nicholas Mullis, Samuel Mullis, Jacob Mullis, Matthew Mullis, Walker Meadows, Emmie Meadows and Caroline Meadows; sisters, Dorothy Dykes, Nora Woodall and Peggy Nobles, all of Cochran and Christine Crafton of Dublin.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ugandan Children’s Ministry, c/o Cochran First Baptist Church, 101 S. Second Street, Cochran, GA 31014 or c/o Ruth Baptist Church, 216 Ruth Church Road, Cochran, GA 31014. -Fisher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
