MULLIS, LENA “KATE” – age 77 of Lenoir City, passed away Friday morning, October 10, 2008 at the home of her daughter.
She was a member of Community Baptist Church and was retired from Yale Security. Preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Mullis; grandson, William Cooper Butler; parents, John Leland Hensley and Bonnie Hensley.
Survived by her four daughters, Linda Borden, Bonnie Brannon and husband, Larry, Patricia McGinnis and husband, Ricky all of Knoxville, and Peggy Butler and husband, Larry of Lenoir City; grandchildren, Rachel Borden, Brittany Brannon Hatcher and husband, Charlie, Erica and Heather Brannon, Sean and Alyssa McGinnis and Garrett Butler; great granddaughter, Ruthie Borden; many other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Click Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Larry Brannon and Rev. Clarence Gresham officiating.
Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 10:30 Tuesday morning and proceed to Loudon Co. Memorial Gardens for graveside services at 11 a.m. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements. www.clickfuneralhome.com
