Asheville ~ Lillian Lounell Mullis, 86, of Givens Estates, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2009.
She was born November 28, 1922 in Iredell County and was the daughter of the late James Harvey Mullis and Naomi Huie Mullis. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Asheville.
She is survived by a sister, Helen Frost of Mars Hill; two nephews, Bruce Frost of Mars Hill and Larry Frost of Hendersonville; two nieces, Carolyn Miller of Asheville and Susan Dresser of Statesville.
A memorial service will be held in the Norma Pulliam Chapel at Givens Estates on Friday at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Joe Fulk officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
