Mr. and Mrs. Al Nance of Peachland announce the engagement of their daugher, Melanie Elizabeth Nance, to Travis Aaron Mullis of Indian Trail.
Nance is the granddaughter of Betty Lockhart of Polkton and Charles and Betty Nance of Peachland. She is a 2007 honor graduate of Anson High School.
She graduated in May 2009 from Cabarrus College of Health Sciences with an associate degree as a certified occupational therapy assistant. She is employed by Aegis Therapies at Anson Community Hospital.
Mullis is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Mullis of Indian Trail. He is the grandson of Jane Deck and the late Freddrick Deck and the late Clifford and Betty Mullis, also of Indian Trail. He is employed by Anson Metals, LLC in Peachland.
The wedding will take place in a plantation setting at The Saratoga Springs in Mt. Pleasant July 18.
