Mrs. Oberia Suggs Mullis, age 86, of Sanford, N.C., died Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at Sanford Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Lee County, N.C. on March 29, 1927, to the late Julian Clyde Suggs and Thelma Patterson Suggs. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Copeland Mullis, Sr. Mrs. Mullis was a store manager for the Pantry.
She is survived by two sons, William Reginald “Reggie” Mullis and wife Susan of Seattle, Washington and Rudolph C. “Rusty” Mullis, Jr. of Siler City and seven grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Monday, November 10, 2014, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home with Dr. Calvin Sayles officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
