1907 ~ 2004
Myrl was born in Colonia Pacheco, Chihauhau, Mexico to Newel Knight Young and Castina Maria Buchanan Young Dec 5, 1907. She passed away Aug 23,2004, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She married Starr Ferry Randall on June 8, 1927. Myrl and Starr enjoyed 75 years of marriage before he passed away last year.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Newel, Wayne, George, and Guy; four sisters, June, Maria, Vernessa, and Rae; one son, Starr Duane Randall (DeAnn); one daughter, Betty June (Carl) Thomas; and three grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Myrl (Paul) Brown; two sons, David Lee Randall (Jan), and Richard Dennis Randall (Bev); a sister, Mildred (William) Pace; 23 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
The family is thankful to the warm people of Harmony Hospice who have been such a great support to us. And a very special thank you to Patricia Brown who has endured much, and because of whom our mother was able to spend her last years in the comforting surroundings of a real home.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 30, at South Cottonwood Stake Center, 1250 E Murray-Holladay Road. (4800 S.)
