Tammy Mullis Cavany, 50, passed away Friday, March 16, 2012 at Flagler hospital after a grueling 22 month fight with lung cancer.
She was born on May 3, 1961 in Jacksonville, Florida to Jack Huland Mullis and Carolyn Annette Wade.
Tammy was happily married to her husband William Cavany for 28 years.
She was a manager in the banking industry and served as a mentor to many in her professional and personal life. Tammy was a warm hearted person whom you could tell anything to and she could always provide a solution. Her loves included: family, friends, animals, the beach, crafts, cooking, shopping, and most of all life.
She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” C. Cavany of St. Augustine, FL; her three daughters, Nicole Cavany, Adria Cavany, and Crystal Brown; her two granddaughters, Chloe Brown and Mya Hamlin; her two brothers, Ted Mullis and Michael Mullis; and her sister Barbara Forlines.
The family visitation will be held on Monday, March 19, 2012 from 10:00am until 11:00am at the gravesite in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Followed by Tammy’s Funeral Service at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery at 11:00am, Monday March 19th, 2012. Arrangements are under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205.
