Mrs. Claudia Virginia White, age 60, of Chatsworth, Georgia departed this life on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at her home. Mrs. White was born on June 6, 1951 in Kentucky. Claudia was preceded in death by her parents; Roy Ray and Lola Mullis; a brother: Charlie Mullis.
Claudia is survived by her husband; John L. White; daughters and sons-in-law; Sheila and Jimmy Cox of Dalton and Tina and Ronnie Maddox of Carbondale; a son and daughter-in-law; John Wayne and Regina White of Chatsworth; sisters and brothers-in-law; Mildred and Frank Rainwater, Fay and Jody White, and Gladys Dean and Jim White, all of Williamsburg, Kentucky; brothers and a sister-in-law; Junior and Minnie Sue Mullis, Earl Mullis, Garrett Mullis, all of Williamsburg Kentucky, and Arvil Mullis of Cleveland, Ohio; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Claudia White will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Reverend Barry Cox officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Murray Memorial Gardens in Chatsworth. Jimmy Lee Cox, John Silas Jeffers, Gary Powers, Jimmy Royston, Aaron Gallman, and Jason Mayberry will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 until 9:00 pm on Friday evening.
