MULLIS, WILLIAM JUNIOR, age 81, of the Coker Creek Community, Tellico Plains, TN, formerly of Augusta, GA, passed away 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014 at U.T. Medical Center.
He was born September 23, 1932 in Lansing, NC.
He was preceded in death by a son, Benjamin Frederick Mullis, parents, Lester and Eula Hart Mullis.
Survivors: wife of 62 years, Aniece Mullis; daughter and son-in-law, Alecia M. and Donald Bowers, of Drummonds, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Julie Mullis, of Martinez, GA; grandchildren, Stephen Wheatley, Jr, of Evans, GA, Rachel Allen, of Covington, TN, Sara Beth and Chase Mullis, of Martinez, GA; great grandchildren, Jonathan and Andrew Wilson, of Covington, TN, Madison and Isabelle Wheatley, of Evans, GA, Ava Winger, of Martinez, GA.
Funeral 7:30 P.M. Monday, Biereley-Hale Chapel. Brodus Holder and Gordon Kelley will speak. Interment 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Epperson Cemetery. Jeff Neyhard will speak.
Family will receive friends 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Tellico Plains.
