Arnold Mullis, 80, of Jonesville Road, died at 6 a.m. Sunday,
\nJanuary 21, 2001 at his home. He retired in 1985 from Cummins
\nEngine Co. after 39 years. He was a member of the Diesel Workers
\nUnion.<\/p>\n

The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Myers Funeral
\nService, Reed & Jewell Chapel, on 25th Street with the Rev.
\nRichard Yeaton officiating. Calling will be from 4 – 8 p.m.
\nTuesday and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday. Burial
\nwill be at Hawcreek Cemetery, north of Hope. Memorials may be made
\nto American Cancer Association or Lukemia Foundation.<\/p>\n

Mr. Mullis was born in Brown County August 16, 1921, the son of
\nJames and Pearl Mullis. He married Lena I. Roberts in Brown County.
\nShe died April 6, 1984.<\/p>\n

Surviving are sons, Arnold Mullis Jr. of Stuart, FL, and Jerry L.,
\nRicky D., and Steve A. Mullis, all of Columbus; a daughter Nina
\nFrazier of Columbus; 13 grandchildren; four great grandchildren;
\nand two great-great-grandchildren.
\n
\nHe was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Edward Mullis; a
\ndaughter, Connie Diane Sullivan; and three brothers.<\/p>\n
