Services for Shirley Mullis Moore, 72 of Post will be 10:30 a.m.
\nFriday at the Post Church of Christ with Charles McCook,
\nofficiating. Burial will follow in the Terrace Cemetery.
\nArrangements are under the personal care of Justice-Mason Funeral
\nHome.<\/p>\n

Shirley died Wednesday May 28, 2008 at University Medical Center
\nin Lubbock. Born to Joe Marshall and Allene Wiser Mullis October
\n17, 1935 at Swenson. Shriley Sue attended school at Aspermont and
\ngraduated in 1954. Shortly after graduation she married Jimmy Avery
\nMoore on June 5, 1954. They made their first home in Post and later
\nmoved to the ranch. Shirley was active in the ranch and farm, but
\nwas very active in taking care of her family and helping
\nfriends.<\/p>\n

In June 2000 Shirley moved back into town to live. Until her
\nhealth failed, she stayed active with her family and friends. She
\nis preceded in death by her Father: Joe Marshall Mullis, April 29,
\n1980, and also by a nephew, Jerry Pike on July 28, 1995. Shirley
\nwas a life long member of the Church of Christ.<\/p>\n

Survivors included two sons, Joe and his wife Kyran Moore of
\nGarza County and Jack and his wife Ralonna Moore of Post; her
\nmother, Allene W. Riddel of Aspermont; one sister Peggy Jo and her
\nhusband Wayland Gray of Aspermont; eight grandchildren, Keith,
\nKirt, Erica and Tamara Moore of Post, Sheakell Morales of Anton,
\nRachel Moore of Lubbock, Raven Jasso and Cody Moore, both of San
\nAngelo; six great-grandchildren; three nephews, Larry Pike of
\nDeLand, Florida, Larry Pike of West Columbia and Tommy Pike of
\nWaco, one niece, Tammy Grabber of Aspermont; and special friends
\nShorty Hester, Billie and Donald Windham, and Royce and Frances
\nJosey, all of Post.<\/p>\n

Pallbearers will be: Wade Smith, Billy Winkle, C.J. Bilberry,
\nTerry Odom, Shorty Martin and Ken Bell.<\/p>\n
