CONCORD — Janie Bernice Price Dabbs, 85, died Sunday, July
\n27, 2008, at Levine Dickson Hospice, Huntersville.
\n
\nBorn Feb. 26, 1923, in Union County, she was the daughter of the
\nlate Solon E. and Virgie Griffin Price. She had been employed by
\nServomation as a vending machine operator. She also worked as a
\nhostess at Hardee’s on Church Street after her retirement.
\nShe was a member of Kerr Memorial Baptist Church.<\/p>\n

Her husband, David Brown Dabbs, died April 14, 1981.<\/p>\n

Survivors include daughter Becky Dabbs Phillips of Concord; and
\nsister Isabell Mullis of Concord.<\/p>\n

A service was held Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at Kerr Memorial
\nBaptist Church, conducted by the Rev. John Setchfield. Burial,
\nCarolina Memorial Park.<\/p>\n
