MOUNT HOLLY – Sara Mullis Clemmer, 84, formerly of 5156 Hickory Grove Road, died Oct. 17, 2001, at Century Care of Cherryville.<\/p>\n

She was a native of Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Dwight H. and Etta Alexander Mullis, wife of the late Herman W. Clemmer, active in church, Sunday school teacher at Hickory Grove Baptist Church for more than 40 years.<\/p>\n

SURVIVORS: Son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Janet Clemmer, Bessemer City; daughter, Catherine Neal, Mount Holly; sisters, Nell Smith, Shirley Clemmer, Mount Holly, Edna Miller, Stanley, Betty Howie, Belmont; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild<\/p>\n

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Sisters, Margaret Morris, Helen McLean; brother, Carl Mullis
\nFUNERAL: 11 a.m. Saturday, Hickory Grove Baptist Church, Rev. Tom Hogan<\/p>\n

INTERMENT: Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery<\/p>\n
