 Claudine, age 81, passed away on Tuesday. She was born in Pompano Beach and was the daughter of Joseph A. and Estelle Riggs.<\/p>\n

 She was an insurance agent for over 40 years and also a secretary at the the First United Methodist Church for over 10 years. Claudine was the class of 1944 Valedictorian of the Pompano Beach High School.<\/p>\n

 She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard and her brother Joe A. Riggs. she is survived by 2 nieces, Jo Ann Reeves and Julia Taubman and 3 nephews, Larry, Tom and Ken Vann and many great nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n

 Friends may call from 6-8 PM Monday August 6, 2007 at the Kraeer Funeral Home, 200 N. Federal Hwy., Pompano Beach. Memorial funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday in the george Foster Chapel of the Christ Church.<\/p>\n

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christ Church, 210 N. E. 3rd Street, Pompano Beach, Florida. I do not know at this time where she will be interred but will list her here since relatives are also buried in this cemetery.<\/p>\n

 While a Senior at PHS, Claudine was the Editorial Manager of the Beanpicker year book. She was known as one of the most industrious and ambitious member of her class. Her high scholastic average won her membership in the Beta Club. Her high ideals challenged the admiration of her schoolmates and her friendly manner and simple frankness won her many friends.
