\nSam Mullis, Jr.<\/b>
\nis president and CEO of the general partner that operates Mullis Newby
\nHurst, LP. Prior to founding Mullis Newby Hurst in 2002, he was with
\nDodson-Bateman & Company for 17 years as an executive vice
\npresident and shareholder. Mullis has also held surety and casualty
\ninsurance underwriting positions with the USF&G Companies in
\nDallas. He is active in numerous trade associations and has served on
\nthe boards of the Associated General Contractors National Surety
\nCouncil and the Construction Education Foundation. Mullis is a past
\nboard member of the Associated Builders and Contractors of North Texas
\nand the National Association of Surety Bond Producers. A graduate of
\nthe University of Arkansas, Mullis holds a BS in Business
\nAdministration with a concentration in insurance and finance.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n
