Two women have been charged with murder in the 2007 death of a
\nConcord man.<\/p>\n

Honey Rachel Watson, 26, and Elizabeth Dawn Mullis, 31, face
\nfirst-degree murder charges and other charges in the death of Lee
\nMonticello Bruner, 59, who had lived at 239 Lincoln St. S.W.,
\nConcord.<\/p>\n

Bruner was found dead in his home on Feb. 10, 2007.<\/p>\n

Concord Police Department investigators learned that Watson was
\nin San Jose, Calif. Officers with the San Jose Police Department
\nfound her at a residence in San Jose on June 6. Watson has an
\nextradition hearing scheduled in California today.<\/p>\n

Watson formerly lived at 261 Clintwood Drive. Charges, in
\naddition to first-degree murder, include robbery with a dangerous
\nweapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous
\nweapon.<\/p>\n

Mullis, formerly of 307 Prior Drive, is serving a sentence in
\nthe N.C. State Department of Corrections on charges of obtaining
\nproperty, felony breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and
\nentering, driving while license revoked, possession of drug
\nparaphernalia and possession of Schedule II controlled
\nsubstance.<\/p>\n

Warrants were served on Mullis June 10, charging her with
\nfirst-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy
\nto commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.<\/p>\n

The investigation of this incident is ongoing.<\/p>\n
