The progenitors Luca “Luis” Antonio Villone and his wife Rosaria “Rosie” Gaetana Maria Balzano initially settled in the Niagara Falls, New York area.




Van Volkenburg
This branch of the Van Volkenburg family immigrated around 1909 to the United States from Frontenac County, Ontario, Canada
The progenitors John “Jack” Van Volkenburg and Mildred Baker settled in the Niagara Falls, New York area and had family ties in Potter County, Pennsylvania area.



McGriff
This branch of the McGriff family is said to have immigrated around 1750 to the United States from the province of Ulster, Ireland.
The progenitors John McGriff and his wife Maria Catherine Brackfield are said to have initially settled in the Montgomery, Virginia area.
This is not fully verified that the family came from Ireland and is currently being researched.



Baker
